Day 5: The Gatekeeper (Coterie of Sorcerers)
Day 5 · The Gatekeeper · Coterie of Sorcerers
Beauty and the Binding: Archmage Lumina & the Dimensional Chains
Elegant. Brilliant. Terrifying. Archmage Angelique Lumina embodies the paradox of creation and consumption—an aristocratic mind lashed to a fire-touched soul. As the Black House’s Gatekeeper, she stands at the hinge of worlds during the Transposition.
What a Gatekeeper Does
In the Coterie of Sorcerers, a Gatekeeper is the mage who binds reality: opening seams precisely, holding them without rupture, and closing them before the Void equalizes all things to nothing.
The Thief-Mage
They call Lumina the Thief-Mage for a reason: she steals space and time. Her twin daggers, Aurum and Ash, cut through dimensional fabric cleanly—precision tools for surgical breaches, not gore. When fire consumes her, she regenerates through it—every wound sealing with molten light.
The Dimensional Anchors of São Paulo
Beneath São Paulo, six crystalline pylons—the Dimensional Anchors—radiate synchronized resonance to keep the Transposition Gate stable. Lumina forged the Anchors and feeds them with measured bursts of her own power.
“The fire inside me doesn’t keep me alive. It reminds me I’m still burning.” — Archmage Lumina
Every surge takes a toll. Beauty is the mask; the Binding is the cost.
